This is just a short update to address a concern you may have regarding the game's development cycle. Most of that cycle is devoted to what's happening now- playtesting. The current version of the playtest document was in development for several years to hit its current state.

You may be asking, "Should I wait until the game is finished to try it?"  I hope not! I would love any of your thoughts here on itch.io or at the community discord server. I'm estimating 1-3 major updates to the document prior to seeking publishing. The updates will feature revisions to the game's mechanics, but I don't envision the core game loop or fundamental mechanics will change much, e.g. you'll still be playing with cards, choosing a Hird, all that. What may change is the exact nature and number of cards played, the wording of powers, or values contained in certain random tables. 

So please, if you're on the fence and waiting, jump right in! The game in its current state is very far along, despite what the version number may indicate. I've consolidated a large amount of feedback thus far for the first major update, feedback from my own games and those of other's.
